Peter Pan Live

Peter Pan Live
"Peter Pan Live" photos of Credit Virginia Sherwood / NBC
It just so happens this minimal known, 26-year-old star of "Young ladies" has a beautiful singing voice — as smooth as twofold stir caramel frozen yogurt. Ms. Williams convincingly pulled off a British stress and was, all things considered, a certain, energetic and suitably impudent Peter Pan.
The individuals who viewed the musical "Dwindle Pan Live!" on NBC on Thursday with expectations of illuminating the Twittersphere with catty editorial were bound to bafflement. Whatever wasn't right with this execution, and there's continually something a bit off in a three-hour live TV program, it wasn't Ms. Williams.

It wasn't Christopher Walken as Captain Hook, either, despite the fact that his voice was weak and he appeared on occasion to be scrounging for the following line. Mr. Walken was no Cyril Ritchard, the on-screen character who played Hook inverse Mary Martin in the first Broadway creation. Mr. Walken didn't bite the view, and he didn't articulate the excellent lines ("That's the place the ulcer gah-NAWS") with much brio. Yet the performer brought his own strong allure, stop-begin style and hoofer muscle memory to the part. Furthermore, in his streaming dark wig and privateer outfit, he resembled the style creator John Galliano dressed as Johnny Depp for Halloween.

The grandiose, brilliantly shaded Neverland sets gave the demonstrate an enjoyably unprofessional look, yet actually this live organizing of "Diminish Pan" — supervised by the official makers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan and the chief Rob Ashford — was a great deal a greater number of driven and hard to stage than "Sound of Music Live!," which they place on NBC last year. No one fell or got tangled in their wires while flying. There was no glitch with the machine produced Tinkerbell. Indeed the genuine canine who played Nana didn't miss an im

Lady Gaga tested for lupus

(PEOPLE.com) -- Ever since she nearly collapsed on stage in March and had to cancel several shows earlier this year citing exhaustion, Lady Gaga has had pals worrying if she's on the verge of tipping.
And now the pop star's latest health scare probably isn't helping to alleviate those fears.

"I'm very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus," she tells The Times of London. "It's a very personal thing."

When asked if she's been tested, Gaga, 24, says "yes," without elaborating on the results, adding that she doesn't "want anyone to be worried" even though the disease, in which the immune system attacks the body, can be genetic.

"I have heart palpitations and things. But it's okay. It's just from fatigue and other things," the singer, who said she fainted during her New Zealand concert because of jet lag, tells the U.K. newspaper.

Her most recent health emergency: "The other day," Gaga says about her time in Tokyo where she was "having trouble breathing."

After receiving "a little oxygen," the "Bad Romance" singer went back on stage. "I was okay," she says, again adding, "I don't want anyone to worry."

As for buzz about her thin body, Gaga wants to reassure fans that she doesn't "have an eating problem," but rather points to her busy schedule that doesn't allow her "very much time to eat."

"I really don't do drugs. I don't touch cocaine any more. I don't smoke," she says. "I take care of myself."

But don't expect her to slow down anytime soon.

"People say I should take a break," says the singer. "But I'm like, 'Why should I take a break? What do you want me to do? Go onvacation?"

Mass Effect may become a movie

Legendary Pictures, the studio that produced the recent Batman films, 300 and Watchmen, this week acquired the film rights to bring Mass Effect to the big screen.

The game, created by Canadian producer BioWare and published by Electronic Arts, offers various issues to be explored in a feature film, as imperialism, individualism or question “man versus machine”. These elements should be used by Mark Protosevich, author of scripts for films like ‘I Am Legend‘, to adapt to the Mass Effect movie. However, remember the site The Register, there is always the possibility of it being turned into a big action film with computer graphics and many heavy gunfire and explosions.

According to GameSpot, the same studio is betting on another adaptation of the game universe with a supposed movie World of Warcraft, Blizzard / Activision, which would be directed by Sam Raimi, director of Spider-Man. The fact that following the fourth Spider Released Raimi has been postponed for the production of World of Warcraft, but no prediction about this movie was also released – although it is known that he is already in production.

There is forecast for the start of Mass Effect footage, much less the film’s release. Legendary already has several projects in the queue to leave, including more than one Batman, another Godzilla movie and the already mentioned about the World of Warcraft. Therefore, any movement regarding Mass Effect should take a while.
